battery indicator
hi,
I am on a laptop right now and i noticed that my battery indicator is no longer in the task bar, so i right clicked it and found where there is a check box to add the indicator. the problem is that the check box is grayed out! :0 does anyone know how i can get my battery indicator to show up there again? thanks!

I have a xp laptop. If i remember you can find it on system properties? Or somewhere in the control panel?
Also if your plugged into the wall i know it doesn't show up.

it used to always be there, and right now i am on battery power and i just noticed that it isnt there. I found the check box for it in properties but its grayed out and i cant enable it!
anyone have any ideas? thanks!

start>settings>controlpanel>power options
check under there and you may find something.

You can always use battery widgets, they're pretty cool.

yea i have the battery 'gadget' in the vista sidebar thing, but a taskbar indicator is better b/c u dont need to minimize the program ot see ur remining battery, thanks for the suggestions tho, if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated!
