Default Vista 64bit I'm Impressed!!!!

Well I got it tonight, Bought Premium and couldn't upgrade from XP PRO?

Vista said I had to go to Ultimate or office, Guess premium is for XP home I didn't know that, well anyhow just took it back an got ultimate.
Ultimate came with the 64bit disk so now I don't have to buy it later.

Well I installed 64 no problems at all, fingers crossed
Startup is alot faster than XP PRO,

Auto updates, without me asking Vista found my 64 bit drivers for my 8800GTX, SB sound card, sata raid controler and a couple of other things, Now thats cool
Just check the box and it installs them, No searching the internet for them anymore, Thats nice!
Haven't installed any games yet but so far Im pretty impressed just hope it stays that way.

EDIT: Also I've heard a few people say they can't overclock with vista, my cpu is running at the same OC as with XP 3080MHz through the BIOS

Yeah, I have 64-bit too and its been pretty care-free. My printer is still on the fritz, but I blame HP on that one. Everything else has been gravy.

Vista looks for new drivers on the internet as well, and tells you when there are updates for devices/software that are having trouble. It's neat!

Btw, my supervisor at work didn't want the Vista upgrade coupons that were coming with some of the computers we were getting in... he let me have em, and I just installed the Vista Business upgrade on my laptop. Everything except the touchpad works great, and I'm chatting with dell support to find drivers for that at the moment. They didn't have them immediately available for download. Anyway, got Home Premium on my desktop, Business on my laptop, and soon to be Business on my wife's as well. Good stuff!

Really? Hmm.. It must of been out of date when I installed Vista. It installed a old version when I did it, must be like a day or 2 delay. Thats good to know though. (I installed Vista for the first time 2 days after drivers wernt in beta.)
