Default Mustek A3 USB Scanner Support for x64 or Vista 64?

I have been searching high and low for drivers for the Mustek A3 USB Scanner. I can not find anything but the Windows 2000,XP drivers for this scanner. I can't switch over to a 64bit OS until I can get these mythical drivers....sigh. I have to have the scanner for work and can not afford to go buy $1200 scanner just becuase of drivers.

Any help would be great guys.

Connect the scanner to your PC, turn it on --> then go to Windows Update and search for new updates. There is a chance that it will find drivers automaticly...if so install and you're done.

By Vista you don't really need drivers, you can also open a program like Paint or another photo viewer and scan with that.

I haven't tried Vista yet,but in Xp x64 it didn't find any drivers. Photoshop,Corel Painter,Paint Shop Pro and Paint will not auto detect without proper drivers.
