Default Vista and COD2
Anybody know of any fixes for COD2 so it will run on Vista? Vista says its not compatible when I try to install it. Sucks....

THis happened to me - Time to PWN COD2

Goto My Computer > DVD Drive > Right Click > Open > Look for Setup.exe > Run that it Installs perfect

Huh, I installed and it worked just fine, but when I go to play the game it doesnt do anything. Just a black screen.

If it installed fine, just try running it as admin by right clicking on it. Also, you might want to run it in XP SP2 compatibility mode (right click, properties, compatibility tab).

When things dont work in Vista this usually allows them to work.

Right click and 'run as administrator'. I've heard that fixes a lot of issues with games .

Also COD2 has some AA issues with the 8800's. Might not be able to run AA in the game.
