Default Cant install vista.

When I try to upgrade it keeps getting stuck on this green bar sliding across the screen after it restarts during instillation. Does anyone have a clue why this keeps happening?

If you are installing 64-bit, try installing the 32-bit version.. i've heard so many people not being able to install Vista 64-bit, and it seems there is no workaround until microsoft fixes this..

So you are installing a update version, not the full installation version?

Well in that case have you tried a fresh format of XP and then installing Vista right after?

Thats the only thing I can possibly think of doing, sorry
