I just can't!
Whenever I change CPU settings in BIOS to OC it, it won't turn on. I mean it turns on but it gets stuck or I get a blue screen and then crashes. If I set everything at default in BIOS then it just starts normally. What's up with this? It worked fine with Xp, I could OC it back then, why not now with Vista? If you can help me out of this +rep for you Thanx in Advance ![]()

Well, updating BIOS didn't help. I updated bios, overclocked CPU a bit and restarded.
After restart it crashed imediately. Now I have everything at default again, and everything works fine ![]()

Are you sure the OC was 100% stable in XP? I haven't had a problem running Vista Ultimate on this rig with a decent OC, but it was guaranteed 100% stable because I ran Orthos for a couple of days and F@H for weeks straight without an error.
Try pulling the 256meg RAM sticks out. I doubt that would be the problem but it's worth a shot.

And those RAM sticks, these are new. Before this I had 4 x 256mb...and I had back then the same problem with Vista, so it's not the RAM ![]()

Before it boots up hit f8 and disable 'force driver signing' or what not. I know you need to do that to OC on Vista 64-bit using ATI tool

Anyways, Try making a linux partion and booting on that and see if it boots into linux, then you will know Vista is the real issue or use a linux live CD or something like that.
