Hey guys !
I was just wondering, would there be an equivalent to XGL on Windows XP ? A windows manager with effects and stuff ? Nothing "serious", I'm just bored and have 2 weeks of holidays ahead and want to do something ![]()

I did some looking around, and while you cannot simply install a new windows shell to get the effect, there are some programs than can emulate it to a certain degree. Check these out:
Windowblinds - Skinning WindowFX - Transparency and "window shake" Topdesk - the "cube" Yz's Shadow - Just another program I use with the Windows Classic theme for some nice shadow and transparency effects (works with any theme)
