Default problem installing graphics drivers in vista
i've been trying to get nvidia graphics drivers installed right, but for some reason i can't.

vista is rating the graphics as 1.0 and 1.0 and the performance and tools section is saying new hardware detected. i've installed the drivers, but still nothing.

system is:
m2n sli deluxe, amd 5200, 2gb ddr2 800, 8800gts

What drivers did you install? Download the latest from the site. After installing, go back there and choose renew score, or something like that. (mine is in dutch so I don't know what it is in english).

You can also use windows update, go to control panel, windows update. It should find some drivers dor your new hardware.

I think this is somekind of a bug, because I also installed new drivers, refreshed it and it still says New hardware found, makes no sense.

What about performance, did you benchmark it before and after? Did you see any difference?

Don't forget to clean old drivers tho.

yeah, i uninstalled the drivers

the score was the same before and after reinstalling the new drivers.

is the nvtray icon supposed to be running or not? because it's not running.

yes, i hit refresh and nothing changes.

whether i hit refresh or update, nothing changes with the score.

it wasn't actually the drivers, it was actualy vista itself
