Default WMP11 Wont Uninstall

I'm running WinXP and I've installed WMP11 before. I rolled back to WMP10 because it was really unstable. However, I recently bought an Xbox360 and reinstalled WMP11 so that I could do the media sharing. Again, WMP11 was really unstable and just plain annoying so I wanted to uninstall it again. This time when it rolled back it didnt go back to WMP10. It did the restoring part and I restarted my computer, but when I tried to start WMP to do the setup it doesnt even start WMP. It still says in Add/Remove Programs that WMP11 is installed and when I try to uninstall it again, the bit where it ask me if I want to do it, the minute I press ok/next (whatever it is) it just skips to the "WMP has been rolledback" instantly as if nothing happened, and nothing did!!! I dont know how to uninstall it now and when I try to install WMP10 using the .exe at the windows website it says that WMP10 isnt capable with my windows version =/. I cant do a system restore either because all my previous restore points are now gone (might have to do with my uninstallation problem...) Help please

Weird. Don't know what to tell you. You could also use tversity. That's what I used for media sharing on the 360. It's pretty simple to setup. I never could get media player to work with it anyways.

Default Windows > WMP11 Wont Uninstall

You have yo go into control panel/Add/remove programs and click the box(show updates)
Scroll down until you see the program you want to delete. Your case WMP11 and remove it,then go down until you see window updates and find WMP and delete it also,it should delete it.
I would also go to the drive you have it installed in,mine is C drive. Look for the program folder and open it and look for the window media player folder, delete all. hope this helps.

Yeah, I tried that. I also tried deleted the WMP folder in the Program Files folder and like theres this one file that doesnt delete, wmpband.dll. Also all the main files respawn a few seconds after I delete them !!!
