so im fixing a girls laptop, so many random things and low disk space. the explorer.exe is alwyas running at 99% and wen i try to call it back up it gives me an error saying bad command or argument, something like that... what could possibly the problem? its really making things complex

sounds liek im gnna have some fun on this thing, lol, easiest way to fix this?
i solved the problema bit put explorer.exe to low priority

ok setting to low did not help to much went bak up to 99%

the error i get is titled Nerf
it states, Run-Time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument

I have had this once and it freaked me out, i rebooted my comp and it went away, then i did all the scans i could just to make sure it was ok

dont really know what caused it maybe just an error or something

Format.. lol. Honestly, that's what I'd do.

If that's not an option, run Ad-Aware for spyware, Registry Mechanic to try to clean that up a bit, then get some anti-virues and firewall software on that badboy.

ask her if she has anything important on it..if not..download all the latest drivers

and reformat

easyest and quickest thing to do

guess im gnna have to ask her when she gets back from a party or dance, whatever the hell, im gnna try to install adaware pro and nod32 in the mean while

good luck...nod32 and adaware pro should get a lot of it..

also try spybot search and destroy

and ccleaner

kk, gnna have to find those, it also wont allow me to delete norton on a admin account :/ says i dont have the privleges ...... -.-
