Default tat not working in vista x64

I installed tat but it won't run...when I run as administrator it opens but instantly closes and dissapears. Same thing happens when running with driver enforcement installed. Have tried the downloads from techpowerup and overclock.net but neithre of them are working. What's the problem?

It doesn't run on vista 32 bit either. Fails with some hardware enumeration error.

I have a different mobo, but speedfan and coretemp seemed to both work for it, as well as nvidia monitor<maybe a slightly different name?> that comes with ntune.

It occurs to me that this could also be a (fixable) UAC issue, but I didn't play around with it much since I found other stuff that seems to be working.

speedfan works but it ain't great at reading my temps and it utterly fails at reading my fan speeds.
Ntune(gigabyte) sucks, and last time I tried coretemp it was a no go. May have been updated now tho so i'll have a look.
