Default help

i can't install windows on my laptop anymore!!

i had vista on it at first, then i just installed linux on it to check out how it was..

it was a bad experience..
so i went to reinstall xp, but it would copy the files, then freeze at the boot from cd screen, just before it would go to the little screen that said installing.

i tried to install vista, but the laptop wouldn't even recognize the dvd.!

HELP!

i don't have any os on my laptop currently..

i need it!!.

Okay you said that XP copied the files so im assuming that it freezes after it try's to restart. Manually restart the laptop go into the bios and now set it to boot from the Hard Drive first. Let me know.

failing that i'd say get an old boot disk and reformat your drive to FAT32, and then try installing XP onto that, reformatting it to NTFS during install...
