So my grandma has been getting lots of BSOD's on her new Dell lately.
__________________The specs are: Dimension E520 PD 2.8ghz 512mb RAM G965 mobo Integrated graphics She has been getting ones that go like this: *** Hardware malfunction MMI Parity Check / Memory Parity Error I think it may be bad RAM, but I'm not sure. I tried reformatting, but it BSOD'd in the Windows installation! So is it bad RAM, or something else? Thanks.

If you have an extra DIMM lying around, try it out. Otherwise, RMA it.

Lol that's the strange thing. There is no message or anything, just those 3 lines about the parity check...
