xp themes?
What are some good xp themes? I have been using Royale Noir for the last year and want to see something different. I would defiantly prefer something that does not use a running program like wincustomize. What is everyone using and what do you recommend?
Oh btw: they have to work with xp x64 edition.

I dont know why you wouldn't want to use Wincustomize, I use Windowblinds on my system and haven't noticed any performance drop in games with or without it loaded. And with your rig there it would be even less noticable if Windowblinds did take a bit of system memory.
Just my 2 cents, sorry I cant help you w/ default XP Themes :P

I might go with Wincustomize, I had it awhile ago and it seemed to lag my bootup and dropped 3-4fps in games. I'm mainly looking for an alternative, a theme that will run w/out a program in the background. I put Royale Noir back on temporarily, but it would be nice to have something like it in the sense that it has no performance drop.

I stoped using Windows Blinds!! instead im using also the Royal Theme for Xp but in Blue it looks nice.

You need the UXTheme patch. Then you can download any skin from deviantart in the windows themes or visual styles section and use it without a program. I don't know if it works with 64bit though.

wow uhh NO it does support it. On top of that... it replaced some windows files and now I am stuck w/ Windows Classic style! HELP!!!
Royale Noir won't go back I'm stuck w/ this:
