When transferring data off a CD/DVD (drag a drop, installing a game, etc), and I'm listening to music, it slows down and sounds like ****. It stutters. My mouse gets jerky, and windows get really laggy.
I never used to have the problem. It got to the point I can't even install games when listening to music. I've been able to do that on my 3000+ .... so whats the problem doing it on a Core 2 Duo? :***:
Like I said, it never used to do it, AFAIK. Then again, I don't know if I ever tried it. Installing BF2 brings my music to a crawl, does the mouse thing, and makes windows laggy -- but it never locks up. :***:
Does it both in Windows Media Player and WinAMP.

When I close what I'm using to listen to music, it still does the other two, so it's not the programs. <_>
