Default Enable ReadyBoost without meeting requirements

Running ReadyBoost without meeting requirements for a USB ReadyBoost Drive. This works with External Drivers and is only recommend systems of 512MB or less

OverView:

1. Format USB Drive

2. Disable "Stop retesting this drive when pluged in"

3. Copy any file inside the usb (This will write a folder in regedit on where you edit)

4. Start -> Regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\EMDMgmt\Your Device
|
--- If you see 100 of those folders. Delete all of them and write a file to the USB that you want to use for Readyboost and close\Restart regedit.exe. Unplug your device if no other way (after repeat step 2 - If you repluged your device)

5. Check and make sure you did step 2 (if you unpluged your device)

6. Edit: DeviceStatus "2", ReadSpeedKBs "1000", WriteSpeedKBs "1000"

7. Reset device, Done

Sounds good, but what are potential problems with running ReadyBoost without the device meeting the requirements for it?

well microsoft says you need a device that has 1ms or less but who cares? it's only for systems that have low memory AKA 512MB

So it works with less than 1ms, but just slightly slower than it might otherwise? Hmm, interesting.
