Vista compatibility mode..
Hey guys.. i have Call of Duty 2 that i want to play in Vista but it has compatibility issues so your supposed to run it in compatibility mode. when i do however, it cant find the CD and says i dont have it in there.
Is there a hotfix or something for this?

Do you have the latest patch for it? I think it resolves it, it fixed it for me on Vista 64 bit.

I patched it to 1.3.. idk it crashes when trying to load the third russian level..
Is x64 vista better for games? the computer has an Athlon 64.. should i upgrade to the x64?

x64 has worse support for games and drivers currently.
Did you try disabling Desktop Compisition? I can't remember what its called its on the compability tab. Also make sure you try the latest betas. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_162.22.html

Ok im downloading the beta drivers and will install in the morning..
But the thing is that people are having problems without running it in XP compatibility mode.. and when i do (with any game) it cant find the game CD..
