I just installed vista home premium and I notice that any type of animation displayed is pixelated and doesnt look as good as it should. At first I had a problem playing divx/avi files in windows media player so I downloaded ffmpeg and it started working but with the pixelation that was never there previously on windows xp, then I went to play a flash game on firefox and it was pixelated too.

You will need to install drivers for your card, Link.
You are running on the generic Windows VGA adapter. EDIT> Oh not the card in your Sig I don't see drivers listed on Nvidia. Hmm, There may not be Vista drivers for the card.

Yes, download and install the driver from nVidia and that should fix you up.
OK, on further investigation there is indeed no nVidia driver for MX440. ![]()
