Default Computer Not Booting Vista Help!

So after the loading bar screen for Vista, before the logo comes up, my mouse light comes on, then my computer stops, i left it for a while and it did nothing. This was just after my computer was playing up really bad with the internet, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting (when the other computer on my network was fine), and eventually disconnected and wouldn't come back (this is why I restarted it)

I ran chkdsk, took about 15mins, did a few fixes but no change, I cant find my windows CD either to repair I booted into safe mode, but the network drivers mode doesn't work (my connection still playing up) but at least my files are safe. What can I do ? help!

Boot in safe mode (no networking) and do a system restore to last week, see if that helps.

System restore is the way dude....if that dont help well ummm...hmm u cant even reformat cause u got no disc....wheres your windows disc, how can u lose that,is'nt vista new.

Allways keep cpu disc around man,you will need them sooner or later...you should have a certain cd case just for all cpu disc...i mean like os,gpu driver disc, mobo disc..etc.

Have your vista updating since you had it?i was gonna tell u to update but you cant connect to the net...jus restore & see what happens it normally works for me...unless its a virus thats the only way restore wont work...thats a call for reformat.

lol...right click my computer & click properties then click system protection (u'll get a promt) just click continue...then click system restore & click next or choose a different restore point...but just clicking the recommended restore point should work.

Yes but I cant find anything to do with restoring in it!! Its just split into two sections, the default OS bit, and then memory dump bit, theres nothing there about restoring, even though it says "restore" in the title bar, what am I doing wrong here?!

Is it possible I could have turned it off somehow or something?
