Hey guys. Since i got Vista i have been 50/50 because some of my games didnt like vista. But now that all the drivers for my computer are supurb and BF2 runs without a hitch maxed @ 1200x1600 with 2x AA @ a constant 50~70fps

Im going all Vista now since the only game that is literally incompatable with vista is Call of Duty 2.. and i beat that game so yeah.

Who else is 100% vista?

Linux and Vista haters dont post here because we dont need "Vista sucks get linux" posts.

(go to your drive, click 'open' and run the exe)

It just won't auto run

I have personally ran CoD2 on Vista will no performance decrease to XP

I loved it but I reformatted. I'm trying to install MACOSX 10.4.9 and Vista took 500MBs out of my 1GB of memory (leaving not so much memory) so I installed XP x64. Once I get 2GB's I'll reinstall to vista

When I first got Vista (installed it on my new rig), I disliked it quite a bit for a some reasons: drivers for my wireless network card wouldn't work, ATItool would not run (at all), Source games would frequently crash, some other programs wouldn't run at all, I didn't like the interface, and the whole "Run as Administrator/Cancel or Allow" thing REALLY got on my nerves.

After messing around with it, installing new drivers, and optimizing my settings, I have come to like it for the most part. It's not a bad OS IMO, but I can't say I'm 100% satisfied (in all fairness I don't think I could be with any OS). I'd say more like 85-90% satisfied.

Ok i'll try CoD again then.. do i have to run it in compatibility mode?

Yeah i had it since the betas but i have not been 100% till now.. ha XP is but a shadow compared to Vista from where i stand

I went 100% vista partly because I like it better than XP, and partly to piss off my rabid apple fanboy roommate.

I'm also 100%, its a great OS and if I ever have compatibility issues, I just install it on VMware. Only problem I had was that the workgroup name was changed to MSHOME instead of just WORKGROUP like XP was, so I had to change that on all the old XP computers in the office.
