I was wondering. . I know you can apparently play clips but is there any way I could stream a clip from the internet? . . say a web cam or more importantly a radar image from NOAA.gov? . . I thought you could enable active desktop or something in XP to do it . . is that possible or is it something different entirely

If it can be done. Look into silver light.. they have some silver light dreamscene's but not streaming yet. But silver light is also being used for some streaming. MS have an alpha Dl link also http://silverlight.net/ .. ive not looked into it a great deal but this is probably where it's gonna happen
