Vista - ClearType fonts less clear than others?

So it's supposed to make it easier to read or something on LCD screens.... but all it does is make me feel like I'm on Linux.
__________________Is it just me, or is the bottom clearer? Is there any way to disable ClearType? ![]()

I find MS's cleartype fonts hard to read. They're blurry, not anti-aliased.
I dunno if you can disable it in vista. It'll be in Display > Appearance > Effects, if anywhere. ![]()
