Question Forgotten XP Pword, HELP
Ok so i thought i would secure all my files etc by creating a pword on my PC, well seems like ive forgotten it, ive tried everything i can think of but no

I even made it so i can only access my files through that account, and i hav no guest account.

Windows XP Pro Sp2

Is there anyway to disable or access my account in anyway, i wanna go on my PC lol

yeah you have to boot into safe mode then log in as administrator then create a new account.

I only have an Admin account, ive tried Safe mode but i cant rember Pword, to much drinking in Ibiza :S

I tried the earlier link with the Repair, however XP Still asks me for PWORD even when trying to repair

Im now looking at your link SZayat.


If any body else has any idea's please tell me, even if its just how i can recover my files then reformat etc.

I have tried booting to Safe Mode, alas it asks me for a Pword as i named my User Admin

get a dos whıch recognıses ntfs Thıs mıght help
then go to c:\windows\system 32
delete the logon.scr file
then copy cmd.exe and rename it to logon.scr

reboot and wait for 10 mins at the logon screen command prompt should open . type in net user username u want *
