Default Please Everyone with Vista Read!

I tried to solve the X over my network icon on the bottom right hand corner of my screen, but it doesn't work. I could go online but it would say no such interface supported. I did the power cycle but then it totally screwed all the computers in my house, and now I cant use the router. I have a Dlink DGL-4300. I am updating drivers now and have been waiting online for Dlinks customer support for 40 minutes. How do I get back onto internet and have my internet start up again for the other computers.
Here is a shot of the screens and the little icon at the bottom right hand corner:

Sounds to me like you need the ethernet driver for your motherboard or network card. Power cycling your router should not have messed up anything. Do you have dsl or cable?

Nah your original problem wasn't related to your router. You don't need drivers for your router within windows you need drivers for your ethernet card. Maybe you have a IP conflict. I'd turn your machine off. unplug the router and modem if seperate. then after 15 secs plug in modem then router if seperate then let all boot up and check other machines. then boot yours again and check the network once more click the icon and ask it to renew your IP. if this doesn't work check settings within network divices.. TCP for that device and make sure it's set to let this machine get an IP automatically..

EVGA 680i drivers

First it extracts everything to a folder under C:. It should have installed it when you installed the exe. Go to Start/Control Panel/Classic View/Device Manager. See if your network adapter is there. There should be no ! beside it. If there is, you can right click and update the driver. Select where it is under c:/Nvidia/nForceWinVista/15.01/Ethernet when it ask for a specific location.

Does your motherboard have dual ethernet connections or dual lan? Mine does and if one of the network connections on the motherboard does not have a network cable plugged into it I get the same thing. I fixed this by plugging in two cables from my router, one in each jack. Kind of weird but workded for me.
