VERY strange WINDOWS problem
Alright...
I have skype, ventrilo, hl2, and firefox open Play hl2 map changes on public server My computer stop responding (all the apps) but windows is still active and working. I decide to ctrl alt del and del all the processes for th eapps Select process Press delete "are you sure bla bla" , YES nothing happens restart computer play more hl2 map changes BAM again BAM again Every time a map changes this happens. my computer should be able to handle it. It also happened when i was loading a game called fury, don't know whats happening and why windows won't let me delete processes..  help? I was initially also getting bad frames in hl2, so i redid my drivers (it was happening before i installed the new drivers). My fps is fine now though, however, the strange fps lower was when it all started.

well... all i know is that HL2 doesn't always work so great with the 8 series cards
for example.. for The Fury on here - if he tries to run HL2 it just doesn't ever open... and he's tried pretty much all the 8 series drivers there are i think it could be a similar problem that it just doesn't work with the 8 series cards well.... just a thought, cant think of anything else and good luck getting it fixed

it happens with other games too when they are loading
BTW, when i end the process the actual program closes, however, the process remains in the menu. Then when i try and reload the program it won't because its already "up"

i need voip o.o lol
but yea, that shouldn't be it. And if i can't run anything at the same time as hl2, might as well not even play...
