Default XP Home vs XP Pro?

Hi Guys

I'm building a new PC and want to install XP. However, I'm not sure whether I should get the Home or the Pro Edition? What are the advantages that Pro has (if any) that Home doesn't include?

The PC won't be used in a business.

Cheers.
Anders

as far as i know, the only differences between XP Home and Pro lie in networking ability. Pro can network more computers together. there may be other differences, but none that i'm aware of. this contrasts with Vista, where the Home version is crap and they charge more for Premium to give you all the features any discriminating customer would want.

I've used both and have noticed very little difference between the two. I think that Pro has things like remote desktop and, as others mentioned, more tweakability for networking.

For day to day use, I didn't notice any difference at all. If I were to buy another new copy, I'd probably pick up Home since it's usually cheaper.

Doesn't XP home only have support for single core systems? or is it single CPU systems?
