So I'd like to hear some feedback, especially from ATI users. I use my PC for everything: gaming, HDTV viewing, you name it.
How is the X-Fi support as well? Do I need to go ahead and download my codecs, such as XVid, ffdshow, directfilter, mastroka, oggvorbis, etc.? Thanks ![]()

X-FI works for the most part. I can't use TS while playing a game though. Also, VOIP in general cuts out sometimes when playing games.

I heard X-FI support is weak for vista.
Also loading a GPU overclock on startup is troublesome in vista 64 bit, but there is a work around that involves uninstalling a windows update and not installing it again. It was posted in the windows or OS section i think... Might want to check that one out first.

X-Fi is supported. There are no problems with it. Performance for the X2000s are improving with new drivers.

![]() Well I'm pretty excited. On the TS note: Are you using ventrilo, or is the TS built in for BF2/2142?

Easiest work around for GPU overclocking is to BIOS flash the card.

$350 or so.
I probably won't even bother overclocking my GPU if I have to flash.....no flash tools support the card yet. ATI has a tool, but they're keeping it in-house, and only releasing to a select few.....like Kinc.
