Need help with corrupt OS!
Argh, i leave my computer for one day so my little bro can have a go. I come back this morning to find something wrong
 Every 5 seconds i get the 'Windows Explorer has stopped working' then 'Windows Explorer is restarting' Literally, every 5 seconds. I cannot do nothing. It is that quick i cannot get from start menu to system restore options in time. I have tried doing a repair install from the disc but the disc won't load! Anyone have nay suggestions at all?

Nope it does the same thing in safe mode
Do you know a really quick way to get the system restore options up? I cannot do it through startmenu or control panel. I don't have the time

Since you can get into safemode, can you try "Last known good configuration"?

How do i get to it?
I only have 3 - 5 seconds before the whole windows thing refreshes. Luckily FF stays open for some reason  BRB going into safe mode EDIT: Last known good config didn't solve it

 I can't even reformat. Because when the disc loads up, it loads the background up but nothing else. No options no nothing. Looks like i will have to install Vista on my IDE drive, and reformat my SATA drive from there. Hopefully that will work. Could it be my RAM? Because when i tried selecting something it came up with an error with memory in it.

Nope, haven't tried CMOS yet, memory isn't the issue. Just tried my 6400 HZ's and still no luck.
Will try CMOS then after that i will just use my IDE to reformat the SATA
