If you ordered a retail or upgrade version of Vista 32, you can order the "Alternate Vista Media". Microsoft will let you purchase the 64 bit version for $10 if you already have Vista 32. I just went to the link and followed the directions and it only took 5 minutes. I've switched to Vista 64 already. Best of all, I got my new Vista 64 Home Premium DVD from Microsoft in less then a week!

Does this really work? Is it worth it to upgrade from 32-64?

I guarantee it works! It is all done through Microsoft. Just put in your install key and follow the directions.

From the Start menu select "My Computer"
__________________From the "My Computer" window select "View system information" From the "System Properties" window select the "Advanced" tab From the "Advanced" tab click the "Environment Variables" button Look through the "System variables" list for a variable called "PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE". If this PC has a 32-bit processor this variable will have a value of "x86". If it has a 64-bit processor this variable will have a value of "x64".

The Pentium D 920 is 64 bit, so I'm almost 100% sure the 940 is.

I think everything right now except earlier netbursts is 64. Anything AMD is, unless it's really old, and Pentium D's and newer Pentium 4's are 64-bit. Although I've heard that Pentiums are about as 64-bit as the D's are dual-core.
As in, not really.

Pros: I loaded up Bioshock and maxed out the settings, but this graphics slit the game's throat then ate it's entrails for dessert. It slammed Assassin's Creed's head onto the curb then stomped its head into that curb until it was nothing but a bloody pulp. This card is one bad mo-fo. It'll backhand your sister and degrade your mom, but they will still love it and want to date it because it is just that good. I love this card so much that I burned my tongue trying to french kiss it, and I still keep trying.
