Default Things I need for Vista

I am about to download the upgrade and I cant afford to be out a computer so I just wanted to check to make sure everything will work.
When I download it, I will have to use the mobo and graphics card cd to install drivers again, correct?
I then plug in the lan line, then plug in the wireless card and it will automatically download drivers for it.
Any other small details Im missing? (just being on the safe side)

Well first off all you will need to install the LAN and wireless card drivers (But the vista compatibility with wireless cards are very low just now and drivers are few and far between )

Run the Vista Upgrade Advisor (Get it from the MS site) and it will tell you what will work and won't

Once you have the internet working you can download the latest graphics/sound drivers and Vista will automaticly show you any new drivers for any devices you don't manually install drivers for.

It is EXTREMELY important that you not let Vista Update install drivers for your video card. If it does, you will need to manually remove them before installing 163.69. Let me know if you need instructions for removal (don't bother with removal "tools"). It would be preferable if you have a copy of 163.69 installed before you hook up the internet (also, 15.08 chipset might be good to have ahead of time).
