How do you activate the "unused program" thing, where it puts all the shortcuts in a folder?
This is for Vista

Desktop Cleanup Wizard?
EDIT: Wow it doesn't have it. I've been through the knowledge base from microsoft and it makes no mention of it. The Customize Desktop Option also isn't anywhere to be found. Sorry but it looks like you'll have to do it by hand.

needlessly complicated

"unused program" thing is only availabe with Start menu Classic view. It would take a bit of time though till Vista learns your most frequently accessed apps & hide the remaining others.
