Default Another chance for Vista?

I just got an additional 2GB RAM, total 4GB. Should I give Vista Ultimate 64 bit another chance?

Are they fixing the Vista problems? I'd like 4 Gb also.

I went to Vista sometime early this year from XP. Hated it.
I went to Vista about 2 months ago from XP, loved it.
Vista = permanent OS for me now.

Only thing that sucks is I get about a 1/5 of the FPS in CS:S as I do in XP, and 3DMark scores took a nice dent.

(BTW, I'm running 32-bit, not 64 -- and wouldn't until 64bit is the ONLY OS, because until it is; all the programmers and whatnot will code for 32 being that it's easier. The x64 OS' until then will always get the short end of the stick.)

Vista 64bit works great. There are some games that don't work, but they are all older. All my devices have good drivers and support from their makers. That being said, I dual boot with XP so I can play my old legacy games, =)

I've used 4 sticks of 1GB , 2 x 533, 2 x 667 and I haven't blue screened once..

You should check out your own build instead of Vista.
