Default Finally.....Windows XP....back, but on quick question
I have a 400 gig HD but the WinXP only see 137 gigs of 400 gigs. I was told that when i install SP2, it will automatically see it....

is that person correct?

you have the hd limmit on. its a jumper on the hd itself. look at and take it off.

Its a SATA HD...i don't have any jumpers on it....when i installed Vista on the same HD, Vista was able to see 400 gigs of my HD, unlike winxp that only see 137 gigs.

lol no. It is because of that you have SP1 installed. You can also download a registry hack which fixes it in SP1, but it's not the only reason to move on to SP2.

If you're worried about it, just slipstream Service pack 2 into windows xp install disk so you won't have to go through so much trouble next time....
