AMD Overclocker

New opteron 170 and windows.
I just installled a Opteron 170 and I was wondering if I needed to re-install windows or something else. I don't think I have problems , but I'm not sure if my OS is using both cores. I'm not even sure how to assign cores. Is there any information links for a daul core noob?

There is an AMD dual core patch somewhere (I'll look for it) but what I did was reformat.

No need to reinstall windows. You still need to install AMD Dual-Core Optimizer & keep your Windows Updated.
EDIT: Nice Guide How to install the AMD X2 drivers, hotfix, the correct way.
