Do you want to make an exact copy of the partition or only back up selected files?

Norton Ghost is great, but your going to run into a problem here, whenever you change your motherboard, you really should do a fresh installation as you can have driver conflicts even if you attempt to uninstall all the old motherboard drivers.

More that likely when you change out your motherboard, it is going to change your hardware code, and cause windows to require being revalidated. There is also the possibility that during the reinstall of the OS, that it will not validate, and require you to buy a new key. Its probably possible to call XP and get a new validation code, but that is up to them, as you have your XP licensed to the hardware its installed on, currently.
