curious about vista re verification...
if i install a new gfx card and memory will i need to call them them to reverify my copy since its OEM?
i did when i reinstalled vista, but are these changes classed as minor? also will removing the mobo to fit a new cooler cause any problems? im assuming not but best to ask

you shouldn't have to reformat to do any upgrades that you mentioned. so your windows vista should be fine.

No, the only time that you make have to re-activate it is if you switch out your motherboard to a different one.

ah excellent! wasnt planning on formatting, had to before. but its fine now.
so dont have to worry about phoning microsoft on christmas day
