Its windows vista running in RAID0. My USB sticks work fine. I can plug them in and they work, plug my external in via USB and it wont show. I can plug it into another vista computer and it shows but not mine

Try this
__________________Are the items showing up in the safely remove hardware" window? if yes, but they are not showing in "my comp", you probably just need to assign a different drive letter. especially if you have a network drive, windows will often assign the same drive letter to the usb drive when you plug it in so it wont show up in my copm. assign an unused drive letter using the disk managmant (under admin tools - comp management) and it will appear in my comp
