Can anyone recommend a good registry cleaner, hopefully one that will allow previews of changes B4 they are made..
I'm willing to pay for a decent one, rep city for the good ones.

I recommend CCleaner - http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner . It's free. It will show you what it's about to remove and prompt to make a *.reg backup prior to removing entries. It's also a good program for cleaning up temporary files and editing what programs startup with windows.

another vote for ccleaner. i've heard of other programs like registry dr or something like that but i haven't heard enough about them to trust them.
another good program is advanced windows care. it does more than just registry stuff too. its a very nice program and i've never had problems with it. www.iobit.com

CCleaner all the way. To my knowledge it does everything the other programs mentioned can do and best of all... its FREE!

yep..just watch it with some of the reg cleaners out there.
they have been known to balls up the registry. oh yes and C CLEANER works well never had a problem with it.
