Default SP3=Crysis Performance Boost
K guys, I installed Sp3 last night on my machine and holy **** I can now play Crysis on Dx9 with very high hack above 35 FPS.

Before I was getting less than 30. I had a saved game on the Onslaught map and I can play it with smooth frames now.

There is a .bat fix to trick windows into making the updates think you are a certified beta tester and it will allow you to download through windows update the Sp3 Pre-Release.

What is involved in this very high "hack"? Is it just changing the 3's to 4's in the demo's config file? If so, I'm happy. That means I can play it very high with no lag at all.

This is good to hear, if I ever get annoyed with vista i will defiantly witch back. I'm happy to hear that sp3 is good. But I like my DX10!

This windows thing works then? If it does, i'm up for it. Anyone got a list of what the update includes, specifically?

Edit:

Turns out I can't get at the updates because of that windows validation thing. Bummer!

Anyone get a .zip or .exe link for the update?
