Default WIN2K pro install - stop-boot device inaccessible

ok guys - been scouring the net and cant figure this out - getting " boot device inaccessible " error on installing w2k. swapped mb's - was running 2K pro - then tried different hdd in it and now get that error with all hdd's i've tried-ran set up discs-still get error after all 4 discs done >< help ?!?!
