Default Are Vista 64-bit drivers better now?

I am thinking about formatting and installing the 64-bit version instead of the x86. How is the driver situation now? If I remember correctly the 64-bit drivers were lagging behind the 32-bit in the overall scheme of everything. I have a total of 4GB of RAM and want to take advantage of it.

The main drivers I'm worried about are my nVidia and Creative drivers... are they good and stable or should I stay on the 32-bit version for now?

I have an X-Fi XtremeGamer and I have noticed no sound quality difference while watching movies or playing games (Crysis, BF2142, CS:S, WOW, etc.) in Vista x64 vs XP x86. SO the Creative drivers are fine IMO.

The nVidia drivers are fine too. They aren't AS GOOD as the x86 drivers yet, but think about it. They have been making drivers for XP x86 for years now, about 1 year on Vista x64 so they are getting better all the time. But again, the display drivers on Vista x64 are good.

I say go for it.

The Nvidia drivers were shaky for both x86 and x64. They improved concurrently, IMHO. X-Fi x64 support, on the other hand, has only really taken ground in the last couple months if you were doing anything other than playing music or gaming on your sound card. Now, it seems pretty solid.
