I had to load Vista with only one stick of RAM and it had to be inserted to the slot nearest the CPU just to get it to load. I tried all the slots and it would only load this way, I then had to add one stick at a time and reboot between each stick being inserted. I was warned that vista 64 bit would be a pain to load but I now have 8gb of OCZ running fine @960mhz.

I spent 2 hours stressing over this Vista install problem, after trying to install vista 3 times with no joy so I stripped the system back to 2gb of ram (one stick on A1) and one graphics card and it then installed fine. When I tried to add more ram to the 3rd (B1) slot it froze up again, so I put it in to the second (A2) slot and it booted fine. I was then convinced there was something wrong with the 3rd slot (B1) I tried it anyway and it still booted ok, so I finaly added the 4th stick and the second graphics card along with 70+ updates from Microsoft and the system running great. I have just posted some pics up on the gallery.
