Default MS Zune and 64 Bit Windows

OK, as some of you already know, Im sure of it, MS zune software does not work on XP 64. I have looked forever, there was a hack witht he old software, but it dosent work with version 2 now. Does ANYONE know of ANY way I can use my zune, 3rd party software, etc? I used anapod explorer back in the day for my ipod, does anything like that exist for zune? I cant find it if it does. Anyone who has figured out this problem please help, because MS ripped off my money by not writing on the box that 64 bit is not supported. Its an issue with the installer, I am sure I could run it in compatability mode but it wont install! I am not about to dual boot 32 bit windows and lose my ram just to update my zune. GAH MS sucks, wish zune worked in linux =x

After reading up some support info. i found this:

Operating system
Both 32-bit versions and 64-bit versions of the following Microsoft operating systems:• Windows Vista Home Basic
• Windows Vista Home Premium
• Windows Vista Business
• Windows Vista Enterprise
• Windows Vista Ultimate
• Windows Vista Starter
Or 32-bit versions of the following Microsoft operating systems:• Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (SP2)
• Windows XP Professional SP2
• Windows XP Tablet PC Edition SP2
• Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 together with Update Rollup 2 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (update rollup 900325)
Make sure that you have installed any high-priority updates that are available for the computer. To install any high-priority updates that are available for the computer, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

so there is NO support for XP 64bit version but there is for Vista go figure

Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. this will always be the same when there is a new OS out.
