Default vista64 bsod right after install...sweet!

So I just put vista64 on my computer (posting from my roommates computer) and got a bsod on the restart LOL!... I loaded up the dvd and repaired the install (it said I needed to remove any cameras I had hooked up - there ARENT any hooked up :-/ ).

So it got into windows, and I installed my display drivers and restarted only to never restart again. I get a bsod when I try to load windows, or when I try to reinstall windows. No matter what I do, I get BSOD!!! haha... what the hell, I hate vista. I am going to reinstall xp as soon as I can find where it is...

edit: I wish I could sell it and recoup my money but I somehow think thats illegal . I feel like microsoft stiffed me.

bsod: "machine_check_exception"

Please list the numbers that you see after the "MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION"

I'll try to help, I have to admit though upon first glance I tend to think this is a hardware issue. As MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION errors tend to be.

"0x0000009C: MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
(Click to consult the online MSDN article.)
This is a hardware issue: an unrecoverable hardware error has occurred. The parameters have different meanings depending on what type of CPU you have but, while diagnostic, rarely lead to a clear solution. Most commonly it results from overheating, from failed hardware (RAM, CPU, hardware bus, power supply, etc.), or from pushing hardware beyond its capabilities (e.g., overclocking a CPU)."
