I believe somehow my mother switched her display settings to dual monitor (dropdown Display 2) mode, when she only has one.
Now her monitor is acting like Display 2. It doesn't have a Start menu and any window opened (incl Taskman) I believe is being focused on the nonexistent "Display 1". Is there a hotkey to call and focus all opened windows to the current display, or something? I'm thinking if I opened Taskman then somehow called it, it would pop up and I could get her squared back up.

...switch the plug on the video card.
Move the input from the secondary display port to primary. ![]()

There's only one.
Honestly, I don't even fully know what she did nor how she even has dual mode available to her, considering her hardware. She said she went into display properties. She saw a dropdown that would let her choose "Display 1" and "Display 2". She chose Display 2, and now there's no start menu and windows won't focus. She can get a desktop sub-menu, create shortcuts, and whatever, but anytime she goes to launch something, it won't show up. Help me ObiDuckieHo; you're my only hope.

Now that I think about it, the reason why she has dual mode available is the TV-out built into her Mini-ITX mobo. So I'd assume the TV-out is now acting as Display 1.
I however can't hook up a TV to it where it's at, so I need a hotkey that will either swap Display settings or focus windows to Display 2.

If there's a TV output then it's been set to screen 1.
Edit: Why not move the computer to the TV? Or the other way around if it's easier.

Reinstall drivers will definitely revert back to standard mode.

I suppose I'll just try to move a TV set close enough to her computer for an RCA cable to reach.

You can't from screen 2. I'm trying to find a way out (I run a dual screen setup and I'm trying to make screen 2 be screen 1 without using my current screen 1).
Edit: I could write down the keyboard button presses to if you tell me what OS it's running on.
