I have Vista Ultimate 64bit on my PC, and my Daughters had XP pro but it kept getting popups from myspace I think, anyhow after reinstalling XP a few times I decided just to install my Vista ultimate but use 32bit for some of there older games ect.
Now I installed it Vista 32 thinking after thirty days I would have to buy a another key this was just to get them by until I get one, well it hasn't asked for one yet and it updates just fine.
I guessing it's because I'm using the 64bit and there using the 32bit, I hope it never asks my wallet does anyhow

OEM editions are built for ONE PC only, and most other editions that are personal are as well although certain editions exist that have up to 3 uses on the key... maybe u got one of those?

what he said, but in simpler terms:

OEM versions are bound to once computer, usually by the motherboard. they cannot legally be transferred to another machine, ever.

retail (off-the-shelf) versions can be used on as many computers as you like, but only one at a time.

Thanks I didn't know that and I hope this is the case.
I thought I would have to buy another key for there PC.

Go to windows update or windows downloads and try to trigger the "Windows Genuine Advantage" ActiveX control download - for each PC. If it gives both instances of the OS a :thumbsup: then you'll be good to go...

Sounds like you have vista ultimate retail? The retail version of ultimate comes with both 32-bit and 64-bit on the disk. By the EULA, you are only allowed to have ONE of those versions active at a time on ONE computer.

It's retail,
Well if thats the case they haven't said anything yet, I'm not going to get another key until they do and as much as it cost they should let you put it on a couple.
Microsoft had the family deal you could buy 2 more keys for $45 each but that isn't good anymore.
