I have had vista for quite awhile now but just realized that it installed 32 bit instead of 64 bit. Now I have the legal vista ultimate disc, but I cant seem to find a way to install 64 bit.

Vista ultimate does come automaticly with 32 bit and 64 bit right?

No, you would have either 32 or 64 bit.

You'll need to uninstall 32 bit, reformat the drive, and install 64 bit. I made the same mistake I hate how they put 2 CDs, if you're tired you don't see the difference -_-

the retail version of ultimate comes with the x86 and the x64 keys but an OEM version has no alternate version.

No, as for myself, I got a Retail one which had both 32-bit and 64-bit CDs. Not all retail boxes have both, you can contact Microsoft and be charged around like $10 to receive the other CD. I remember reading somewhere that you can obtain the other CD.
