How do I tell windows security to stop bothering me?

How do I tell windows security to stop bothering me?
Anyone know how to stop the little red shield from poping up every couple minutes telling me to enable UAC in vista? I dont want to enable it.

Yep. Go to Control Panel, then user accounts. Then turn of User Account Control.
Done.

Yeah that stops UAC from bothering me but then it tells the little red shield to pop up and tell me that I just disbaled UAC, I need to kow how to disable that little red shield. How do I tell Vista, "Hey look, I know UAC is disabled stop telling me"

Oh, well for that go to Control Panel and then Security Center. Then you should be able to click on something that says "Click here to change how Security Center alerts me". Then turn off anything you want security to NOT alert you about (UAC, Firewall, Antivirus, etc.).

Control Panel > Security > Security Center > Change the way Security Center alerts me > Don't notify me and don't display the icon (not recommended)
Voila! No more annoyances.
