Hey OCN,

After using vista for a while decided to download the dreamscene preview to see what it was like.

it's cool and all but the included videos are encoded at like 800x600, lol or something embarrasingly low like that

i'm now running 1900x1200 and was wondering if anyone knows where i can get dreamscene backgrounds for it?

i don't have any 1080p content on my computer so i can't just edit a clip (i think you can do that)

any suggestions would be appreciated

EDIT: i read the advice on the vista tweaking sticky about putting screenshots as a running video desktop but for some reason my computer doesn't recognize print screen....i even dl'd 1080p clips too

Thirded! I would love some decent animations of logos or just pretty lights or whatever. An animated OCN flame+ effects would be pretty sweet (get cracking guys)

i found a website that has a free downloadable program called Wincustomize that's designed for making your own dreamscene's

they have a library of ones people submitted here

PS: if you find any good hi-res ones, post the link in this thread plz

EDIT: i think you need to dl the Deskscapes program to use them

The problem there is that they're in a proprietary .dream file format which will require you to download the stardock software... No thank you.

i used it a while back when it first came out, and as I recall, it was a system hog, but maybe theyve worked on that. I just dont wanna try again haha.

What's dreamscene? I haven't heard about this before... From what I gather, is it a moving desktop background?

Yeah thats what it is, i have matrix one right now with falling code. Looking for something cooler though or even dual screen in about a week or so. I'm not sure if that will work or not. If I get some time and someone doesn't beat me to it I'll make an OCN logo one in 3ds Max

That Wincustomize site is cool but after you download certain amount of MB you cant and have to pay...you can then make free account and download more stuff until you get cut off again. They even charge sometimes money for a few dreams or even skins or icon packets. IMO site is cool but needs to be free.

There is a torrent that has a bunch of clips of dreams. Can we post dreams up here with out facing the wrath of a moderator?
