Angry How do i remove a driver from Vista

The driver that comes with Vista for monitor is stupid!!
I would like to know if i can remove, i have tryed deleting it but i can do that...it is stupid because it only alows my monitor refresh rate to be at 85 when if i hade my monitor driver it would alow it to be at 100. I have tryed to add it but it says the generic monitor driver is good enough...wth Vista has it's own mind? If anyone has any feed it would be great.
